Stuart Parr Collection Presents/ Riviera Rendezvous

Pairing elements of lifestyle, design, and resort culture, Stuart Parr Collection continues its study of la dolce vita through the joy of vintage beach cars and luxurious sports cars from the 1950s–1970s. This curated group features automobiles that were designed specifically for leisure and enjoyment and evoke an immediate sense of a bygone era. Custom-built Fiats, including the infamous Jolly beach car as well as the beautifully stylized Marinella variety, are the mainstay of the exhibition, along with several variations within the genre. This study of lifestyle through transport, within the scope of design and nostalgia, is Stuart Parr’s métier and offers the design world rare insights into oneoff specials and period coachwork that has remained largely within the jet-set society for decades. Ramping up the glamour and horsepower are selections of incredible sports and GT cars from the 1960s–1970s with marques such as Iso Rivolta and Bentley.
